This Thursday will be my first time working out of NY in a salon! I go there for freelance jobs but this time is something different!
on a side note today I was driving and saw another billboard that I did. There is many talk soup billboards that I have done that are around town but this one was a little fun in the hair department!
It is a little to short around her face when compared to the back of her hair! She was afraid of short hair so I trimmed the back some but left the length up front! I than dusted of her ends around her face!

One of my favorites had a grown out look that I love but needed shape! I went in a new direction that was fun! You can really see a difference from the before and afters!

I was lucky enough to work with this actress the last couple of days for her new movie The Artist! A soft beautiful pulled up style looks great on her! I added lots of texture that provided an airy feel! Check the movie out! THE ARTIST!!!
One of my awesome clients Vida came into the salon and needed shape along with weight took from her hair!! I blunted the bottom while adding invisible layers! Once the hair was dry I went through taking the necessary weight from parts of her hair! She was really happy and so was I!

This client has a lot of fine hair which makes it thick! I loved the length but she had a lot of disconnection throughout her hair! I really wanted to blend and soften certain pieces to create a beautiful haircut! I blunted up the bottom but added the right amount of invisible layers…….this is the final product! Hope you like!

Michael Sparks is a Santa Cruz native. He started out assisting a trio of famed hair stylists at the prestigious Chris McMillan Salon: Mara Rozak, Leanne Citrone, and Jen Atkens.
This training lead him to train under Chris McMillan for several years. Recently, Michael decided to take his talents to the long awaited Ramirez Tran Salon. Michael's inspiration comes from runways, editorial, and everyday life.
